I work primarily as an editor, but also have several co-director credits. I’ve been based in New York for about 10 years and have worked on everything from feature films and documentaries to commercials, television series, and music videos as well as short films and experimental art. I have edited features appearing in the Cannes, Sundance, Tribeca and Toronto film festivals, Most notably Blue Valentine, directed by Derek Cianfrance, a frequent collaborator and close friend. Some of my commercial clients include Nike, Ford, Tommy Hilfiger, McDonald’s, LG, Grey Goose, and Merck. Formerly I was a member of a directing collaborative called wormseye, which produced music videos for RCA, Sony, and Capitol Records. I aspire to make more films. I have experience as a shooter, editor, producer, sound designer, and colorist.
I received a B.A. in Philosophy from Vassar College, have been a freelance editor since 2003, and am a fan of Terrence Malick.
I am represented by Paradigm for feature films. Contact Gil Harari.
